The aircon has not been working since September, and the heat is a challenge but the rooms remained cool while the doors were open. If you are looking for a pleasant trip away from home, with good accommodation service, ok meals, limited kids games, and endless poolside fun where family bonding is the order of the day(s), then the Carousel is the place for you. It is clear that the modern metropolis casinos have taken a toll on the grandeur of this once great establishment. The State’s capital is Santa Fe and the largest city is Albuquerque. A part of its south coasts is bordered by Mexico. The hotel is small (number of rooms) and a bit dated, but the rooms are big, and comfortable for 2 adults and 2 kids (the little one was in our bed - housekeeping brought an additional bed for the big boy). The State of New Mexico (NM) is located in the Southwest of the United-States bordered by Arizona to the West and Texas to the East. they loved the opportunity to wake up, and be in the pool in under 2 minutes. The little ones are 2 and 5 years old, and are easily impressed. Our trip to the Carousel was the second one this year - the Sun Deals special makes it extremely affordable to give your family a mini holiday with access to pool side R&R and kids entertainment.
